Hudson Design recently helped clients, Samantha and Laura Leigh Abby, design a state-of-the-art fitness studio that pairs fast and fun fitness routines with nutritious and delicious smoothies and juices. It’s a combination you won’t want to miss the next time you make your way through Beacon, NY.
Hudson Design’s Interior Designer, and lead for the project, speaks out about the process. “I am thrilled to watch the Abby’s create this local business from the ground up and share their passion for health and wellness. This project was so easy to get excited about because it is the epitome of what we, at Hudson Design, love to do and that is give back to our community. The ladies’ enthusiasm was contagious and made the whole design process extremely fun and rewarding.” says Pettinati.
The fitness studio takes every advantage of a small space and despite the narrow walls it packs quite a punch. The use of warm neutrals along with a pop of their signature mint color is a refreshing take on an exercise environment. “We wanted to make our clients feel comfortable yet stimulated when they walk through the door”, said Samantha. “We knew we had a smaller than average space to work with but we wanted to create a place where, when the lights go off and the music is pumping that’s when you really can let go and have your best workout.”
The studio sports 12’-0’’ high ceilings and a dynamic 3D feature wall that gets washed in colored light throughout each session. The space officially opens in January of 2018 and it is guaranteed to be a hot spot on Main Street. Hudson Design wishes everyone at The Studio @ Beacon the best of luck.
