Heritage House Conference Center

Project Brief

Heritage House is a retreat and conference center funded and operated by Officers’ Christian Fellowship, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and encouragement of U.S. servicemen and women and their families. The Building is set into a gently sloping hillside and oriented to maximize natural daylight and view of the valley below. The design provides lodging and dining for 220 people, a multi-purpose assembly room, grand lobby and lounge area; a monumental stair, mezzanine parlor areas, wood burning fireplaces, administrative offices, classrooms, a game room, nursery, restrooms, laundry facilities, exercise and fitness room and commercial kitchen. The building is clad in traditional clapboard siding, standing seam metal roofing, architectural masonry units and painted wood columns and railings.
