This state-of-the-art fitness studio, with outlets for both cycling and boxing, takes every advantage of a small space. The use of warm neutrals along with pops of a signature mint / turquoise color is a refreshing take on an exercise environment. When guests enter the space, they are first greeted with a juice bar, which offers smoothies with locally sourced ingredients. The studio itself sports 12’-0’’ high ceilings and a dynamic 3D feature wall as the backdrop for the tiered cycling area. Surround sound speakers and flexible lighting completes the space. The studio also includes dedicated lockers and storage units for all of the equipment the guests need. The boxing area of the studio is outfitted with mirrors, inspirational wall graphics and specialized hangers that allow the bags to fold flat against the wall, increasing the open floor area by 15% for open cardio work.
At the offset of our project to build a boutique fitness studio in Beacon, we were looking at gutting a space that was smaller than we’d initially hoped, and turning it into something that felt open and airy. Cassie and the team at Hudson Design helped make our vision come to life. They put their full skillset to work to utilize every inch of our space and help us create something that feels bright and spacious with a clean and cheerful aesthetic. Cassie took our ideas and amplified them, all the while keeping us wholly involved in every step of the design process, so that the project felt like a true collaboration. She worked closely with our contractor and construction team to ensure that every decision was the correct one for the space, and we’re still pinching ourselves over the final result. The Studio @ Beacon is modern and stylish with practical design features. We couldn’t be happier.
