Castle Rock

For over a century, the iconic Castle Rock (c. 1881) has fascinated residents and visitors in the Hudson Highlands. With its copper-topped tower and extensive network of granite carriage trails, the Castle evokes a sense of timeless grandeur.

Hudson Design is proud to be part of the next chapter of Castle Rock, completing a multi-year master plan to transform it into a private residence once again. Our work includes the restoration and renovation of key spaces such as the Family Quarters, Dining Hall, and Music Room, as well as new additions like a Movie Theater and Aviary, and the restoration of the Entrance Bridge and original trails.
