The Valatie Public Library relocates a vital community resource from a former two-bedroom house into a historic railway warehouse. The two-story interior was activated through the introduction of a mezzanine and restoration of the exposed wood trusses. The program includes a media room, computer lab, private meeting rooms, acoustic treatments, and 16-foot-high stack areas — transforming an industrial shell into an inviting civic anchor.
